Turbine Flow Meter
A turbine flow meter is a real turbocharger that converts the flow energy of a liquid into mechanical energy by means of a rotating paddle system similar to a Woltman meter. Kem Küppers turbine flow meters consist of one rotor with paddles, which provide energy exchange with the flow.
Advantages of turbine flow meters are the extremely fast response times and a very high resolution, making them perfect for fast-filling systems. Other advantages are resistance to very high pressure and temperature resistance. Areas of application include cooling and water circuits, paint systems, hydraulic systems, fuel consumption measurement, and di-water/solvent application.
