Float Switches

The float ball depending on the density floats on a liquid, and as soon as the liquid level increases or falls below a preset value, the controller will output a signal. Float switches are often used as level detection and are available in a variety of configurations. If you want to use a float transmitter as a level meter, it works like this: The float ball floats on the liquid and increases or decreases with the liquid level. The magnetic float opens or closes the rods in the bar. Through the inverter, the analogue or digital signal is forwarded, and the level is displayed in your PLC or digital readout. The advantage of a float switch is that they can be used under high temperatures and high pressure levels. Available with ATEX and marine approvals
