Temperature Switches (thermostats)

For more than 70 years, Trafag thermostats have proven their reliability in the most difficult conditions. A thermostat maintains a certain temperature in a system by turning on or off at a set temperature. The core of a mechanical thermostat with bellows system consists of a special oil in a sensor causing a microblock to be activated. A bimetal thermostat consists of two connected metal strips with different expansion coefficients. Due to the difference in expansion, the whole bends with a temperature change, so that a contact is activated at a certain temperature. Applicable to air conditioning, heating systems, engine building, shipping, offshore oil and gas production.
